The Roots of Science Are Orange
A Vision of Science That Turns the World Upside Down

Expected in spring 2027

“We cannot raise our children
into healthy adults if we teach them
only half of our collective wisdom”

What is the film about?

The Roots of Science Are Orange is an essayistic documentary in which I explore the spiritual and philosophical roots of Western thought.

The film follows my personal and intellectual journey through the history of truth: from Parmenides, Plato, and Aristotle, through the Renaissance, to the emergence of modern science and our contemporary educational system.

Through personal experiences, close readings of classical texts, and visionary moments, the film reveals how the separation of science, religion, and spirituality has profoundly shaped our culture.

The Central Question

What happened when knowledge became increasingly detached from wisdom, ethics, and embodied experience?

And what does this mean for the world we inhabit today—and pass on to future generations?

The film invites viewers into a renewed conversation about truth as a shared responsibility.

Why “Orange Roots”?

he film introduces the following metaphor:

"If you say that science is red and spirituality is yellow, and you trace science back to its roots, you discover that those roots are orange—as a unified whole."

The title refers to this original interconnectedness.

What we often experience today as separate domains once shared a common origin.
